The Taste of Fall

I found this in the grocery store the other day.  I am a sucker for new coffee flavors.  When my grandmother was living and I would go to her house she would always have a variety of "General Food International Coffee" sitting out on the counter with the coffee pot plugged up and full of hot water.  I miss her so much.  She would have loved this new flavor.  Pumpkin Spice Latte.  In loving memory of Grandma Young.

  1. Wow, I saw this on the shelf the other day. I'll have to go back and pick this one up, too. I am not a regular coffee drinker but I did enjoy the one I bought. So I'll just give this one a try.

    Thanks for the little push!

  2. Well, if this helps any all the kids have a terrible cough, runny nose and of course the fever. Whit's only lasted 3 days. Drew got sick on Monday and is still running a fever. Heidi ran fever for 6 days but that was due to the strep she had also. You know they wouldn't give us Tamiflu b/c we aren't consider in the high risk group. Anyway, I hope your little one feels better soon =) Thanks for the comment too!

  3. I just wish coffee tasted as good as it smells. Everybody has been talking about the pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts (I think). Yours is probably a lot cheaper and just as good!! Such a sweet picture of Grandma!

  6. How precious! She appeared to be well along in years in the picture that you posted. I hope you had a lot of good times with her.

My Dad just died at 71 and that was way too soon for me. He is in heaven but I miss him terribly. (it's only been a month).

I'm already seeing how important it is to remember the little things (like coffee flavors) in order to remember the person. :-)

You are welcome to join in with Thankful Thursday any Thursday you'd like. I keep it open through Saturday so anytime you wish to pop in, feel free! We love to give thanks and see what others are thankful for.
