For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotton son, that whosoever shall believeth in him, should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Kaitlyn's Tooth

Here is Kaitlyn after I pulled her 4th tooth. She has lost 4 teeth this year. This was the other tooth was starting to come in behind it and her daddy was ready to take her to the dentist and get it pulled. He was so worried it was going to come in crooked. So we finally got it out without having to do that. She wasn't very happy with me, but we got it out!! YEA!!

The Chair

Here is Kenleigh with her new Dora Chair. We went to Wal-Mart at Cabot last night. I had a gift card for Kohl's and I had some other things I needed to do in Little Rock. So we stopped back by Cabot Wal-Mart because I like it better than the one in Searcy. It doesn't seem as crowded. Anyways, I was in the toy section because I had a couple of birthday gifts I needed to get when I realized that Kenleigh had a gift card that we still had not spent yet. So she first picked out a baby doll and a play pen for the baby doll. Then we came around the corner and she seen the Dora Chair. I told her we would have to put the baby doll back. She was all for it. We didn't get home until after 10 that night. She set in the chair until after midnight and never got up out of it. She absolutely loves it. Wished I had got this a long time ago. Wonderful birthday gift and investment!!

Last Softball Game

Last night was Kaitlyn's last softball game before tournaments start next week. She played a double header last night. It was so hot, but very exciting. They lost both games but she did so good and so did the entire team. These are a few of her teammates. Kaitlyn, Becca, Sadie and Jenna. This was before the first game so they look full of energy here.

Here is Kenleigh. She always has to have her ball and glove. Her and daddy went and played with her while the second game was going on.

Here is Kaitlyn and her friend Mackey Ann. She only got to play the first game because she was having her tonsils taken out the next day. It is always nice making new friends.
Here is Kaitlyn and the coaches daughter, Skylar. This was after their first game and getting ready to play the second game. They were pretty hot.

During the second game, Kaitlyn played bat catcher and short stop and helped to get a girl out on first base. She did so good. I was so proud of her. She was such a good sport. Not that I am partial or anything, lol!!

Kaitlyn got the game ball during the second game. I think she played harder and better this last game than she has all year. I would get so aggravated at her some nights because I felt like she wasn't playing her best, but I can't say that about this last game. The entire team was awesome tonight and all year long. Way to go Murphy Oil!!

Father's Day

Here is Kenny with his girls on Father's Day before going to church. We had a good day for the most part. We went to church and I taught Kenleigh's class. Then on to church services and that was really good. We have a girl in our church that sings Daddy's Hands every year on Father's Day. I always look forward to that. After church we went to pick up Kenny's grandmother AKA "Ma". We took her out to eat at Western Sizzlin. I had not been there since they remodeled. It was absolutely delicious. I will be going there more often. The only downfall is that is was very hot. After leaving there we went on to Little Rock to see Kenny's grandfather, AKA, "Pa". He is in the hospital at St. Vincent. He is 84 years old and very tough. He has been through a lot the last year. We had a nice visit with Pa and then we headed home. I didn't get to see my daddy on Father's Day but I did call him to wish him a Happy Father's Day. I am so thankful to still have my daddy. I hope everyone had a great Father's Day.

The New Puppies

One of our coon hounds had puppies two weeks ago and today was the first day that we were able to get them out and play with them. We started out with 8 but one of them died and it just so happened that the girls went out with daddy the day that daddy found one of them dead. It was very traumatic to the both of them, not in a bad way. It was cute. Kenleigh came running into the house and said that one of the puppies was dead. The 7 remaining are doing great though. They are so healthy and plump looking. Kenleigh was scared of them at first but after just a few minutes she was wanting to pick all of them up. Kaitlyn was picking all of them up trying to tell if they were boys or girls and she got all of them correct!! LOL!! My husband will be selling them when they are ready to be weaned from their mommy.

A Close Call

Today has been a crazy day. I woke up in the night to find out that Kenleigh had 102 fever. So I took her to the doctor this morning to find out it is a throat infection. We got antibiotics and the doctor says she should be feeling better by tomorrow. So I rush around to get Kaitlyn's ball uniform washed for her ballgame tonight. It starts to look dark outside. So I check the weather and we are in a Thunderstorm Warning. So I find out her game is canceled and I have ran around like a chicken with my head cut off for nothing. I get a call from Ned Perme telling me that I am in a Tornado Warning and to take shelter. It is just Kenleigh and I here. Kenny is on his way home from work and Kaitlyn is with her aunt Tina in Searcy. Kenleigh and I take shelter and we make it through the storm safely not thinking it was that bad. Kenny gets home and we decide to go look at the damage up town because we have heard that town was hit pretty bad. So we drive to town and sure enough it was pretty bad. I am so thankful to God for blessing me everyday and especially today. We had no electricity for about 5 hours. I am not complaining. I worked on my Bible study and got some things done that I normally would not have done had I had electricity.
