Music Monday/From the 80's

Photobucket

It is Music Monday again and I am joining Tara over at Keeping Up With The Kelly's.  This weeks theme is From the 80's.  I have to be honest with you, I did not care for much 80's music.  I was born in 1977, 33 years ago today to be exact!!  Happy Birthday to me!!  I really like 70's music better.  But I googled 80's music to see what there was and I did find some songs that I liked from the 80's.  I was crazy about John Bon Jovi!!  I had a poster of him on my wall when I was a teenager as well as Kirk Cameron.  I also like the Eagles.  I am going to share a couple of songs that I like from the 80's.  It seems every song holds meaning to us.  This song reminds me of when my husband and I broke up for a short period of time during our dating years.  It was two weeks but seemed like two years to me!!  Anyways, it seems like I heard this song the entire time we were broke up.  I would just cry every time I heard it.  Although this happened in the 90s, this song is from the 80s.

This is Air Supply Making Love Out of Nothing At All

Here is Bon Jovi Livin' On A Prayer

I will leave you with this last one.  Cindi Lauper's Girls Just Want To Have Fun.

I can't wait to see what everybody else puts for this post since I did grow up in the 80's, big hair and all!!  I hope everybody has a wonderful Memorial Day.  Hop on over to Tara's blog.  Happy Memorial Day and Music Monday!!

  1. Happy Birthday and Memorial Day to you. I hope you enjoyed the cook outs and whatever else you had planned. When I planned the themes, I didn't realize this MM fell on Memorial Day. Next week will probably be your choice or 80s again. These are some good choices!

  2. I loved all those songs too. As Tara said..the 80's had the best music by far. Not a bad song. :)

  3. again Happy Birthday! and I love your new blog header picture; got a beautiful family indeed! I think I like more songs from the 80s than any other decade because it was the time I really listened to the radio and music. Once kids came along, my interests changed and nowadays, LOL, I don't know any new artists, but can still sing along with songs from that era. You picked great songs to share :)
