Ruby Tuesday

Kaitlyn had a softball game scheduled last night but due to a late afternoon thundershower, it got canceled.  :(  

So, when I picked her up from school, she says, "If my game gets canceled, can we go to my choir concert?"  I had totally forgotten about the choir concert.  I had told the choir teacher two weeks ago we would not be able to make it to the concert due to her ballgame and I had already thrown the paper away telling about the choir concert.  So, even though I had much rather been at a softball game cheering on my daughter and her team, we ended up making her choir concert after all, which was nice also.  Hopefully we will get to wear what we were supposed to have worn last night, tonight!!

Ruby Tuesday/Red Books

Happy Ruby Tuesday.  Today I am joining Mary over at Work of the Poet and she has a theme today which is to post RED books, covers, pages, drawings inside the books.  So my oldest daughter always checks a book out of the library at school every week and so I read this book to her tonight.

I know it is after Christmas, but this was a really cute book.

Kaitlyn started out going to read to me, but then she changed her mind.

They make a snowman snowdog that looks like Clifford and we have had some snow this past week and it has been very cold here but not enough for a snowman.
